The Packaging Operator will also work closely and provide backup as needed to the Team Leader in order to ensure the packaging line produces a conisistent product in a timely manner that meets all standards.   In this position you will work in a team environment led by a Team Leader. Summary   The PLM – PLM Coordinator will be critical to supporting the flawless execution of all base business development and new product initiatives within your respective portfolios.   Through your ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, you establish yourself as the key go to person for the sales team in the head office to manage the flow of information both internally and externally to keep projects on track to deliver on time and in full. Primary Responsibilities - Internal Ambassador for Customer and Channel Base: Develop an in-depth understanding of the respective customer base, products and objectives to be able to support the sales team on achieving business objectives.  This will include an ability to generate summary reports and key priorities in conjunction with the Category and Customer Development (CCD) and Sales Leads to drive agenda items for the monthly volume and project review meetings. - Project Coordinator for assigned projects: - Effectively manage multiple competing new product projects and deadlines - Maintain Project Timelines, recognizing when critical dates are at risk - Liaise and follow-up with various internal teams to ensure all project related tasks are followed-up and executed on-time (ie. R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) - Liaise and follow-up with various external stakeholders to ensure all project related tasks are followed-up and executed on-time and on-schedule (ie. Health& Safety Program - Backlog management, including weekly and monthly backlog reviews, purging aged work orders as required - Conversion of the output of maintenance program development to structured work templates - Scoping jobs as necessary to include: All necessary job steps, required tooling, drawings and diagrams, parts, manpower, and safety elements to be addressed - Maintaining and updating work order / event templates - Tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Scheduling: - Verifying resource requirements and availability before scheduling planned work and determine work orders with appropriate status - Generating and reviewing the 14-day schedule with Maintenance leaders to refine details surrounding current conditions and Operation to incorporate operational concerns and limitations. Modify schedules if required - Releasing all work orders daily for dissemination to the maintenance leads and trades, ensuring all identified resources are assigned to open work orders - Maintaining, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials and components for all scheduled work - Interacting daily with Maintenance Leader to ensure schedules are adhered to and modified as necessary - Review of completed work orders for recording of required data, planned vs. actual; hours, tools, materials, and safety requirements to identify any required changes or improvements - Tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)   Required Ingredients: - Post-secondary education with Engineering degree or a related technical diploma - Previous supervisory / lead experience is preferred with a journeyman's ticket - Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office functions particularly Excel, Outlook and Word - Demonstrated strengths in organizational, planning and resourcing skills - Excellent communication with follow-up skills are required. Summary Reporting to the Production Planning and Scheduling Lead, you will provide timely support on developing, maintaining, analyzing and coordinating the Plant Production Schedules for all FGF manufacturing facilities, one at a time.     Primary Responsibilities - Develop production schedules for the manufacturing lines based on the Master Production Plan issued weekly - Analyze material requirements plan and release orders for all materials locally purchased - Ensure that all locally purchased items are received and processed accurately in the ERP system and send final confirmation to A/P for processing the payments - Constantly review and analyze production variance reports to ensure production plans are in place to meet both customer and deliverables and minimize material obsolescence - Review daily production schedule with Operation Leaders and make necessary changes in coordination with the Planning team - Continuous improvement is part of the day-to day approach at FGF; in parallel to the daily tasks as Production Scheduler for a certain facility, ability to act as project manager for low complexity continuous improvement projects - Perform other duties as assigned Required Experience - 3-4 years’ experience in Production and/or Raw Materials Planning for manufacturing - Excellent analytical skills and understanding inventory planning fundamentals - Previous experience working with ERP systems required - Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel - Post-secondary education in Business, Purchasing or Logistics is desirable Core Competencies - Customer and Product Centricity - Responds to the needs of both internal and external customers in a timely and courteous manner, showing a sense of urgency; always keeping our products front and centre. - Flexibility, Agility, Adaptability - Adapts to changes; changes strategy in response to new information; responds appropriately and quickly without having all parameters defined; demonstrate tolerance for speed and uncertainty. - Team Work and Collaboration - Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance of a plan or activity.
