Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will be part of an Agile Development team working on new application development using the latest technologies. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications across the full stack. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software that makes a real impact in our manufacturing facilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and best practices. 
  • Build responsive, performant user interfaces using React and Next.js.
  • Develop and maintain server-side APIs and services using Node.js and Python (Django/Flask).
  • Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Firestore. 
  • Architect and deploy cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. 
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality standards. 
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help define engineering standards across the team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack. 
  • Leverage open-source frameworks and AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, generative AI APIs) to accelerate development and multiply team productivity. 

 

Required Experience

 

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development. 
  • Strong proficiency in React and Next.js for building modern web applications.
  • Solid experience with Node.js and at least one Python framework (Django or Flask). 
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or Firestore. 
  • Hands-on experience with Firebase Cloud Functions for serverless back-end development. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps). 
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, data encryption, and secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP guidelines). 
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tracking tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Datadog, or similar). 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies. 

 

Nice to Have:

 

  • Familiarity with .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core) and SQL Server. 
  • Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. 
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep). 
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
