Summary
The IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the acquisition of information technology goods and services. This role works closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely procurement aligned with organizational standards and strategic objectives

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services
- Lead vendor sourcing, RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations to achieve optimal commercial and contractual terms
- Support licensing management, renewals, true-ups, and audits for software and SaaS vendors
- Review, negotiate, and coordinate contracts, Statements of Work, NDAs, and amendments in collaboration with Legal
- Partner with IT and business teams to understand requirements, timelines, and technical constraints
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, security standards, and financial controls
- Maintain accurate vendor, contract, and asset records within procurement and ERP systems
- Track spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budget planning and forecasting
- Manage vendor performance, escalations, and ongoing supplier relationships
- Support PO creation, invoice validation, and coordination with Accounts Payable
Required Experience
- Experience supporting IT asset management practices, including asset inventory tracking, lifecycle management, reconciliation with procurement and finance records, and supporting audits or compliance reviews.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, facilities, security, finance, and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Hands-on experience managing IT hardware installation and deployment vendors, including cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, and on-site services
- Strong background in coordinating and renewing software, SaaS, maintenance, and support agreements, including tracking terms, notice periods, and renewal timelines
- Experience supporting a multi-site organization with geographically distributed locations and varying operational requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent procurement initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
- Strong understanding of software licensing models, SaaS agreements, and IT infrastructure purchasing
- Experience negotiating contracts and commercial terms with technology vendors
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, and ticketing systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with professional services engagements, Statements of Work, and vendor performance management
- Contract negotiation and commercial acumen
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Attention to detail and process-driven mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
