Summary

The Financial Analyst, Treasury will play a key role in optimizing cash flow, maintaining adequate liquidity for daily operations, and managing the company’s banking activities. This role involves close collaboration with finance teams, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely execution of financial transactions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily cash balances to ensure adequate liquidity
  • Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Process daily payments including wires, EFTs, ACH, direct bills, and checks
  • Review bank transactions and investigate discrepancies or exceptions
  • Ensure timely payment of payroll taxes, corporate taxes, and other statutory obligations
  • Administer the corporate credit card program, including reconciliations and payments
  • Prepare regular cash reports for management with key variances and insights
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Assist in improving treasury systems, processes, and internal controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient cash management
  • Identify funding needs and highlight potential risks or opportunities

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of progressive treasury or cash management experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a proactive mindset toward risk prevention and issue resolution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, including Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups)
  • Proficiency or knowledge of Power BI and SAP
  • CPA or CFA designation (or actively pursuing certification) considered a strong asset
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or food industry environments preferred
