Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content Manager to lead the development of impactful, insights-driven content that elevates our Foodservice presence across North America. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of Foodservice Marketing and a passion for building great brands, content, and marketing tools. This position contributes to the continued growth of FGF Brands by developing our foodservice presence, owning all content marketing initiatives, supporting our sales team with impactful and strategic storytelling, design execution, and brand stewardship. Your goal is to drive engagement, build awareness, and accelerate conversion through strategic content, campaigns, and tools. This role requires:

  • Ability to draw on relevant insights and communicate with impact
  • Creativity, with an eye for detail, and a knack for visual communications
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Understanding of Foodservice, our customer base, and the brands which we represent
  • Experience creating and editing content using Adobe Creative Suite tools

As a key member of the Foodservice Marketing team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (Sales, Culinary, Brand, PLM) and external agencies to bring our brands to life across a wide range of customer touchpoints. The overall goal of this role is to create engaging content, marketing tools, and event support for our sales initiatives that resonates with our audience, drives awareness and trial, and optimizes the path to conversion. Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as brand steward to create and implement a content marketing strategy for Foodservice, ensuring alignment with FGF’s strategic priorities, brand guidelines, and visual identity across all channels
  • Lead and execute the development of creative briefs and marketing materials in partnership with internal teams and agencies, ensuring alignment on messaging, objectives, and execution plans while managing timelines, approvals and production logistics
  • Evolve and maintain the visual identity and storytelling for Foodservice marketing, collaborating on social media planning and producing content tailored for own brands, brokers, and distributors.
  • Establish metrics to track content effectiveness (e.g., engagement rates, conversion, download/share rates).
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships (sales, culinary, brand, PLM, etc.) and coordinate with marketing agencies to deliver impactful initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage content calendars and multi-channel campaigns to support sales initiatives, new product launches, and social media presence including development and execution of marketing strategies, sampling programs and communication plans.
  • Design and produce high-impact marketing tools and customer-facing materials (e.g., sell sheets, social posts, email campaigns, tradeshow content, website assets).
  • Create event content, including tradeshow booth visuals, sampling collateral, and presentations.
  • Identify emerging content platforms (e.g., short-form video, interactive sales tools) and pilot their use in campaigns. Propose new formats or technologies (e.g., motion graphics, content automation, AI tools) to improve content efficiency and impact.
  • Stay ahead of foodservice industry and design trends, ensuring content remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with audience needs.
  • Work with Sales to gather feedback and continuously evolve marketing assets to better meet customer needs.
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions and content planning workshops to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Mentor co-op students and/or junior designers; provide creative feedback and guidance.

 

Required Skills and Experience

 

  • College or university degree and 3-5 years of Marketing or Graphic Design experience
  • Strong computer skills, with a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) applications
  • Familiarity with motion design, video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects), or AI-powered creative platforms is an asset
  • 3–5 years of experience in a content-focused marketing role, with a portfolio of visual work
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and to set priorities according to key business needs
  • Strong design sensibility and attention to visual detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to synthesize insights and translate strategy into creative, results-oriented content
  • Successfully build and maintain relationships in a collaborative team environment
