Summary:

 

The Agile Coach is a trusted change partner who helps teams, leaders, and the organization grow in Agile ways of working. The Agile Coach builds connection and capability across FGF, helping teams work smarter, collaborate better, and continuously improve. They balance facilitation, mentorship, and systems thinking to create the conditions for teams to thrive. Partnering with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and leaders, they remove barriers, align priorities, and enable agility at every level. Through hands-on coaching, workshops, and thoughtful change practices, the Agile Coach helps FGF build high-performing teams and a culture where innovation, learning, and delivery go hand in hand.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Guides leaders, teams, and the broader organization in embracing and growing Agile ways of working, helping FGF continuously learn, adapt, and deliver with purpose 
  • Coaches Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams on Agile mindset and practices, inspiring curiosity, accountability, and a spirit of continuous improvement 
  • Creates an environment of openness, trust, and learning where teams feel empowered to experiment, reflect, and evolve 
  • Helps teams identify and remove barriers to progress, enabling them to move with focus, flow, and confidence 
  • Leads workshops, coaching sessions, and hands-on learning experiences that bring Agile principles to life and build long-term capability 
  • Partners closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and meaningful use of metrics that drive improvement — not just measurement 
  • Collaborates with leaders to design and evolve operating models that enable agility at scale, foster collaboration, and help FGF grow smarter and stronger together

  • Coaching  Guides individuals and teams in self-discovery, problem-solving, and developing behaviors that support high performance and continuous learning 
  • Systems Thinking – Recognizes how teams, processes, and systems interact within the organization to identify opportunities for holistic improvement 
  • Confidence – Builds trust and motivation within teams by encouraging adherence to Agile practices and fostering a positive, growth-oriented team culture 
  • Transformation – Supports leaders and teams through change, helping them adopt new ways of working and embedding a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement

  • Change management and change leadership (Lean or Agile) 
  • Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and practices 

 

Required Experience 

  • 5years of progressive experience in Agile delivery roles, including Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Delivery Lead, with at least 2 years as a dedicated Agile Coach 
  • Demonstrated experience leading Agile transformations across multiple teams, departments, or portfolios in a complex organization 
  • Proven success designing and implementing operating models and frameworks that scale Agile practices and support enterprise agility 
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of Agile and Lean methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFeLeSS, or Spotify Model 
  • Experience providing coaching and mentoring to senior leadership, product management, and delivery teams to embed Agile mindset and principles 
  • Strong facilitation and workshop design skills to lead retrospectives, discovery sessions, and organizational learning events 
  • Familiarity with metrics and measurement techniques to assess Agile maturity, delivery flow, and value realization 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Organizational Development, or related discipline 
  • Certifications such as Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II/III), or equivalent are considered an asset
