The T&D Project Manager, reporting within the T&D Project Management team, comes with experience working across multiple stakeholders leading projects within Talent and Development and managing change. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of projects, including planning, directing, implementing as well as leading initiatives related to T&D’s strategic priorities across North America. In collaboration with subject matter experts, this role is looking forward to continuously seeking ways to enhance the people’s experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Management: 

  • Responsible for all phases of assigned T&D projects from concept through execution.
  • Develop and integrate individuals into high performing project teams using continuous improvement tools, team building, and full range leadership behaviors.
  • Manage resource allocation, weekly availability, time-off, conflicting priorities.
  • Ensure cross-functional team performance to schedule through a regular meeting cadence of progress review with appropriate follow-up actions to ensure on-time delivery of the project.
  • Create project schedules that capture cross functional involvement and determine the best course of action to ensure project goals are met.
  • Communicate effectively with Leadership, cross functional peers and the development team.
  • Proactively identify and manage gaps in the scheduled tasks, schedule misses or slippage by identifying early when tasks are off track and working with team members and leaders to develop strategies to correct.
  • Collaborate with T&D Leaders on company-wide T&D initiatives, such as performance management, promotion process, leadership program nominations, company-wide T&D launches, Team Member development, engagement surveys.
  • Accountable to deliver the program objectives, with focus on change management planning and transition into continuing operations.
  • As needed perform other duties/projects as assigned.

 

Change Management: 

  • Apply PROSCI change management methodology and lead change management activities for company-wide initiatives.
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support change management at the organizational level by conducting impact analysis, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders in collaboration with the assigned Project Manager and in line with the Change Management Champion program.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan.
  • Support communication efforts: support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications.
  • Support training efforts: provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance and develop resistance management plan.
  • Support and engage senior leaders.
  • Coordinate efforts with other SMEs on the project.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience in Human Resources
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
  • Excellent influencing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.
  • Results and people oriented with sound judgement-ability to balance other business considerations.
  • PMP certification in project management or Agile project management is preferred (or in progress).
