Overview:

We are seeking a Senior SQL and Databricks Reporting Solution Developer with proven expertise in Data warehousing, Azure Synapse, ADF, and Databricks. The ideal candidate will excel at designing and developing enterprise reporting and data warehousing solutions, with a strong understanding of reporting requirements across supply chain, finance, manufacturing operations, and sales/marketing functions. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end reporting solutions using MS SQL Suite, Azure ADF and Synapse and databricks
• Gather and translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance reporting solutions.
• Lead the development of dashboards, reports, and data models with drilldowns, parameters, and interactive elements.
• Create and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines from diverse data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and deliver actionable reporting solutions.
• Support FGF’s Extract, Transform, Present (ETP) strategy across departments.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance across BI disciplines.
• Maintain backend data models (views, datasets) and frontend reports used by business users.
• Ensure performance optimization, reusability, standardization, and scalability of solutions.
• Provide operational and customer support for in-house developed BI products.
• Make continuous improvements to BI systems for enhanced performance and usability.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of BI development experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food & beverage.
• Strong domain knowledge in Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing Ops.
• Advanced proficiency in:
• Power BI (Dashboards, DAX, data modeling)
• SQL, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS
• Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse
• Databricks (SQL, Pipelines), Python, Spark, Scala
• Experience designing data architecture for large-scale BI initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA and ABAP table schema is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems in the food industry, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
