Summary:

 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader, the main responsibility as Supply Chain Analyst will be to analyze order patterns by customer, product categories, seasonality, etc.  to generate the Sales Forecast that will be the starting point for the Sales and Operations Planning process.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze ordering patterns for all finished goods to produce a Sales Forecast
  • Analyze the performance of the Sales Forecast to understand the deviations and improve the forecasting model
  • Provide support and suggestions on improvement models, styles, and methods
  • Participate in various improvement projects in the Supply Chain area
  • Manage the IREP program for the organization
  • Responsible to track KPIs for the Supply Chain Department
  • Respond to and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in a timely a courteous manner
  • Quickly adapt between change in developing strong strategies in response to new information
  • Build construction relationships with customers and internal teams, ensuring cohesiveness on plans and strategies

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, preferable with focus on Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills is a must
  • VBA, R or any other language for statistical computing and data visualization would be a strength
  • Some ERP experience required
  • Ability to reliably commute to the Toronto office for work
