Summary
Reporting to the Raw Material Planning Lead, you will be responsible for the planning of certain categories of raw materials (Ingredients/Packaging) as assigned to meet production demands across all production facilities. You will develop, maintain, analyze, and coordinate all inventory replenishment and purchasing of raw materials by working closely with the suppliers, procurement, PLM, central warehouse, third-party warehouse, manufacturing and other departments. You will have ownership of inventory turns and service level for raw materials across all facilities.

Primary Responsibilities
- Run MRP for a pre-defined portfolio of Raw Materials.
- Manage replenishment of Raw materials as per the assigned portfolio.
- Routinely analyze materials usage and recommend best replenishment method following current inventory strategy.
- Work closely with PLM to monitor production launches, delisting items, and engineering changes to meet production requirements and minimize material obsolescence or aging inventory.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities resulting in improving material flows and inventory levels. Participate in implementing any new systems related to supply chain planning and execution.
- Follow up on expected deliveries for the day and be part of a rotation schedule with the other team members in the group to cover after hours and weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- 3+ years Materials Planning/Procurement experience is preferred or strong interest to develop a career in Supply Chain.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain & Logistics.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced in Excel and have acumen for data analysis.
- ERP experience, preferably SAP.
