Summary
Experienced Infrastructure & Facilities Project Lead skills in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing insurance inspections, and overseeing property appraisals. Proficient in coordinating maintenance services like landscaping, snow removal, and asphalt repairs, while ensuring environmental compliance. Strong in vendor management, contract negotiation, and purchase order processing. Adept at maintaining accurate records and providing timely updates to ensure smooth facility operations. Reports directly to Infrastructure/Facilities VP.

Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate city visits to ensure regulatory compliance for each facility.
Schedule insurance inspections, manage claims, and ensure adequate coverage.
Organize property appraisals, providing necessary documentation for accurate valuation.
Oversee landscaping and snow removal services, ensuring timely and proper maintenance.
Manage asphalt repairs, resurfacing, and line painting for parking areas.
Ensure wastewater testing and compliance with environmental regulations.
Negotiate service contracts and ensure vendors meet performance and quality standards.
Issue purchase orders (POs), check payment status, and update vendors accordingly.
Maintain accurate records, provide regular status reports, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required experience:
A degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related field.
2-4 years’ experience in the field of project & facilities engineering is required.
General knowledge of various engineering disciplines in engineering, mechanical & electrical systems, building systems such as HVAC, sprinklers, life safety systems, site services & other infrastructure & maintenance systems and facilities grounds maintenance.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is a definite asset.
Strong command of the English language is required; written and verbal.
Excellent computer literacy & skills (MS Office applications) required.
Ability & knowledge to work safely in a construction environment.
Good understanding of all GMP, Health & Safety, OH&S, Food Safety & Environmental regulation and standards.
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
Role requires a vehicle for travelling between site and off-site locations.
Able to effectively communicate with all types of people, including production team members, engineering team members, contractors, trades workers, technical consultants, and management.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering & production team members.
